Magic Ring Flower

My Magic Ring Flower is so easy to make and could be used to add a pretty detail to a bag or hat. I've made my first three out of thread:

Pattern

Here's the pattern for the magic ring flower in both US and UK terminology:

US Terms:

Start with a magic ring.

Ch 1; (1 sc, 5 dc) 5 times into ring.

Lay petals out flat so they are not twisted, and pull your tail end gently so that the petals are almost touching.

Finish with a ss into your 1st sc, then pull the tail end to tighten the ring; tie off and weave in ends.

UK Terms:

Start with a magic ring.

Ch 1; (1 dc, 5 tr) 5 times into ring.

Lay petals out flat so they are not twisted, and pull your tail end gently so that the petals are almost touching.

Finish with a ss into your 1st dc, then pull the tail end to tighten the ring; tie off and weave in ends.
